Kid’s Health Alliance, PA is a family-centered Medical Home providing healthcare to children in Marion County from birth to 18 years of age. A Medical Home, as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), is accessible, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective care, (AAP policy statement, 2002, reaffirmed 2008). The AAP promotes access to quality Medical Homes for all children and youth.
As a Medical Home, Kid’s Health Alliance, PA is a central resource for all children’s healthcare needs. The physicians and staff perform routine checkups, health education and encourage parents to be involved in all aspects of their child’s care.
A Medical Home is not a building or place but a way of providing health care services. Children and their families who have medical homes receive the care that is needed from a pediatrician and nurse care coordinator they trust. The parents and pediatric professionals act as partners in the medical home to identify and access all the medical and non-medical services needed to help children and their families reach their full potential.
What to expect
A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future visits. We want your child to enjoy getting to know our doctors and staff, so we work hard to establish this bond during every appointment to our office. We look forward to meeting you and your child and providing the quality, comprehensive medical care you expect and deserve.
